I was at the two night Cinci run last year and as we left the venue and headed down the stairs towards the street, there were dealers with a tank standing there on the stairs shouting "medical grade!" They didn't come out of the show with a tank. They showed up after just to make money. They're not fans, they're opportunists. What really pissed me off about that night though was that fact that because of their presense cops squashed shakedown hella early.

it's easy folks. stop buying nitrous and the tanks disappear. there's so many ways to enjoy the shows and the environs. 'hippie crack' is sullying the community. want whippets, suck whip cream in your dorm/apt/house. that's all.
I think I speak for a lot of phans when I say that I don't want the tanks to disappear.
I'm sure you're correct (hell, the only reason they are there is because people want them to be - supply and demand, right?). But there's a difference between buying from the phans next to you or bringing your own, and buying from the mafia. Nitrous isn't my cup of tea at all but I'm ok with other people using it. Just please, let it be an extension of our community - phriendly, chill, and responsible; not profit-driven, organized, and most of all, violent.
