MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 466

Welcome to the 466th edition of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday, the fourth of May - shout-out to our newest MJM Emeritus @sumac22 for one of the clips! The winner will receive an MP3 download code courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the song and date of both mystery clips, which are connected by a theme. Each person gets one guess to start – if no one answers correctly in the first 24 hours, I'll post a hint. After the hint, everyone gets one more guess before Wednesday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Stay safe!

Answer: Nearly five years after @experiencechuck's first win and after winning three of the past five MJMs, Chuck becomes the second MJM HoF inductee in the past three contests and the 30th MJM emeritus of all time - congrats! In addition to another MP3 download code courtesy of LivePhish.com, @experiencechuck will join the growing emeritus crew and (hopefully) bring some of that deep musical knowledge to the blog by lending a hand identifying clips for future puzzles. This week's theme was Great Woods, in honor of the 7/24/93 Dinner and a Movie episide: 8/11/04 "Run Like an Antelope" and 7/8/16 "Cities," the latter jam courtesy of @sumac22. MJM467 drops on Memorial Day...

RollinInMyGrego That first jam is so annoyingly familiar.

Let's go Chuck! Glad I could help you get into the HOF with my pick! I loved being there live for that Cities, and thought it might be good for the MJM. Congratulations!!! Time to celebrate!

Yeah, I was convinced there was a different guitar player and a percussionist on the second track. I was digging through all the old ARU guest appearances to try to find it!

experiencechuck yea having been at that show where Mike picked up the doc in Cities I got that one instantly, barely needed to check

and I was SUPPOSED to go to 8/11/04 but I had to bail at the last minute.. but if you hadn’t heard that atypical and unfinished Antelope -> 2001 that would have been an easy one to look past.. I first scanned to see if there were any type 2 Cities in 2.0 before jumping over to the Great Woods 04 shows and got it very quickly.. I actually remember listening to that jam live on my cell phone as a friend called me during Antelope and held her phone up

which never works, but... I could hear it really clearly :D was real sad for a long time that I had to bail on what would have been my last chance to ever see Divided Sky.. but we all know what happened next, and 5 years later there I was at 6/4/09

Nice work!!! I thought for sure it was Trey on the marimba lumina and Mike on the guitar. The 7/18/16 Ya Mar was eerily similar. The more HOF'ers happen, the better chances I have to see if my win was an actual fluke or not! Good job.
