If I Could

CreatureoftheNight This is one of Trey's best ballad jams and by far the best version of the song ever played.

timrpow Even without Alison Krauss, the boys do a decent job of pulling this version off vocally. THEN The triplets that Trey lays on around 3:45 (where the violins come in on the album version) are so gloriously triumphant in this version to close the set. I think I've heard this song once or twice in my 90 some shows, and so grateful I got to hear one like this at Holmdel.

kipmat Starting in 1995, Page would play some ringing low notes on the piano to accompany the traditional high arpeggios he played. On this version, the low notes at the beginning are reminiscent of The Who's "Baba O'Riley". "Out here in the fields..." :)
