Review by DollarBill

DollarBill This is a nice mid-west show. Decent bootleg, first half audience, second half soundboard. Reasonably balanced.

Can't complain too much about first set. Pretty solid with the exception of a few rough spots in the newer songs It's Ice and Rift. Not bad just a little uncertain in the solo sections. Cuts in Rift, tape flip I suppose. Nice A-Train and Secret Language into a Bowie closer.

Lots of calls for Llama from some guy before second set. Landlady is good. Possum seems to be missing Trey's vocals. Bad mic? Mound also had an uncertainty about it, but again it's a new song. During Oh Kee Pa you can hear Trey call out Llama to Fishman. Good Lizards and Mikes. Hydrogen has a cut in it, most likely a tape flip. Funny Raspberry tease in Weekapaug, also Trey introduces Henrietta and a brief Cold as Ice from Page during the end of Week. The crowd gets a choice from Fish again for a fast or slow song. Pretty solid Golgi closer.

Horn makes for kind of a weird encore, but Rocky Top wraps things up nicely.

Overall a good show, good energy, not a lot of mistakes, but also not a lot of WOW factor.

Review by Pjfmc

Pjfmc Tape starts in Suzyus res, high energy but a little clunky, could be the recording though. It's fun. Good Foam. I still really like Sparkle. It's Ice rocks tonight. Nice, solid playing throughout the whole first set. Bowie rocks.

Second set gets off to a very good start with Landlady and a very, very tasty Possum. This Possum is the highlight of the show in my opinion, and honestly might be a must hear version of the song. Next highlight for me is Llama, very fiery. Mike's gets off to a rough start. Trey goofs up. Everything cruises along afterwards, not much happens. Trey intros Fish before 'paug is even over...

Bottom line, that Possum is an all-timer. The first set is pretty good. That Mike's was primed to be better than it is, especially since they were on a roll with Mike's at this point. Oh well! I like Phish.
