bouchdr We were in the front of the stage "slam dancing" hippy style so hard during highway to hell that Trey asked us to chill out a bit. I would physically move a group of bodies off to one side of the stage and the wave would sent me back to the other side- the Highway to Hell was insain. We were a bunch of St. Mike's boys venturing on to the UVM campus to let them know how much we liked our Phish shows.

Review by TheEmu

TheEmu I think this show epitomizes much of 1991: Tight, well played, not very adventuresome. Curtain and Jim are spotless, Reba is average, Poor Heart, Llama, Guelah, yadda yadda yadda. Oh Kee Pa wasn't as sharp, but Suzy definitely has a little spunk. That, and the Chalkdust that opens the second set, are probably the highlights, though. You've got your deconstruction style Bathtub Gin (blech), a yee haw! in Uncle Pen and another yee haw! in Landlady (heh!) as well as warnings about smoking in the venue and people crush in the "mosh" pit. Oh, and a brief Heartbreaker jam in Tweezer. That's all I've got to say; about as 3 stars as it gets.
